Blood chemistry and carcass characteristics of finisher broiler chickens fed Malted Sorghum sprout (MSP) or Wheat-offal based diets supplemented with yeast culture and enzyme

This experiment was conducted to determine the blood chemistry and carcass characteristics of broilers fed malted sorghum sprouts (MSP) or wheat offal (W/O)-based diets supplemented with yeast culture enzyme. A total two hundred forty 28-day old, Marshal Broiler chickens used for were randomly allotted 8 dietary treatment groups 30 birds each. Each group replicated thrice 10 per replicate. Data on selected indices traits collected during course feeding trial that lasted 4 weeks. The a 2X4 factorial consisting (2) test ingredients (MSP offal) at inclusion levels enzyme (0g kg-1, +0.01gkg-1 Roxazyme G2(G) enzyme, ,+ At end trial, effect MSP showed significant (P<0.05) uric acid, WBC, Total protein, albumin globulin. However, Albumin Globulin highest diet. Furthermore, results show values obtained white cell, albumin, globulin, creatinine, ALT& AST significantly affected by their combination. none parameters measured differed significantly. In conclusion, supplementation + improves Meanwhile, it reduced concentrations ALT broiler chickens. Therefore diet should be yeast+ singly improve Livestock ration better utilisation.
